Story Friday writer Heptonstall publishes new Bath book

Geoffrey Heptonstall, who had a great story in our Brief Encounter Story Friday, has a new book out, ‘Heaven’s Invention’ (Black Wolf).  This is what Geoffrey says about his novel:  ‘I could pretend it was a dream.’ This is a narrative of the corruption beneath the genteel image of England. It is an exploration of the way seemingly innocent ideals can deteriorate into the manipulations and exploitations of power.  Sounds fab!  AND it is set in Bath and the Somerset countryside with a key scene in our very own Hedgemead Park!  If you fancy buying a copy, click through to Amazon here.  You can go and listen to Geoffrey live if you happen to be in Edinburgh on the 26th or 27th.  He’ll be at the Forest Cafe, Lauriston Place at 2pm if you want to drop in.
